Kit 1 – Recommended for Ages 6 – 8

Day 1 – Starting with textiles, you’ll learn how to weave a wall hanging on a felt loom, and make macramé bracelets and keychains.

Day 2 – This day is all about sculpture and the body. You’ll use your imagination to design and make a mask and learn how to make an armature and sculpt a little friend.

Day 3 – Inspired by the painter Piet Mondrian, you'll make abstract paintings, as well as try out different ways to use watercolor.

Day 4 – Get ready to make lots of prints. You'll print self-portraits and learn the many ways to create monoprints (that’s a print that’s totally unique!).

Day 5 – The last day is about movement. Learn about animation and how to make drawings move with flipbooks, and finish off the week with kaleidoscopes!

*Supplies not included:

    • Scissors

    • Markers/crayons/colored pencils

    • Glue
