Irina is a Russian/Canadian Contemporary artist from Novosibirsk, Russia. She is currently living and working as a freelance artist and mother of two beautiful little kids in Nova Scotia, Canada. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from A.D.Kryachkov Novosibirsk State University of Architecture, Design, and Arts, Novosibirsk, Russia. Later she continued her education in Visual Art and Painting by studying under John David Anderson (Barrie, Ontario, Canada) and Joo Young-Geun (Seoul, South Korea).
In her work, Irina Swain is using watercolors, acrylic, and oil paints and enjoys combining different techniques to be used in painting landscapes, portraits, still life of realistic nature, as well as abstract impressions of life.
