Titania the Queen of Fairyland by Molly Ritchie

Availability: In stock

Titania the Queen of Fairyland is a hand-knit fairy doll by artist Molly Ritchie. This magical creature appears in William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and might be seen walking hand in hand through the woods with King Oberon. Her dress is made from hand-dyed 'Kidston Island' merino from Fleece Artist in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and her hair is a 'Sea Glass' blend of mohair, wool and nylon.

Molly Ritchie makes knitted and crocheted fantasy creatures including fairies, unicorns, dragons and mermaids. She also makes seahorses, crabs, fish and flying pig fridge magnets, as well as crocheted dreamcatchers, mandalas and bracelets. Ritchie is a member of the Baddeck Quilters Guild and her creations have appeared in their shows. Ritchie enjoys working with unusual and hand-dyed yarns.
