I designed and produced these earrings to raise funds for Light the Night, a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser. Like so many others who have had to face a cancer diagnosis, my dad was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in January 2021. After putting up a courageous fight, he lost his battle in September 2021.
It is near and dear to my heart to play a small but meaningful part in contributing to the advancement of blood cancer treatment, so that there is an increased hope for survival.
100 % of the profits from the sales of these earrings is donated to Light the Night.
Hearts for Hope are made by mixing a colour recipe of polymer clay to create a semi translucent blush pink. Silver or gold posts are attached and sealed with an epoxy resin.
Studs measure 1 cm.
