This spalted birch tray by The Bowl Guy is hand-turned by Phil Jones and finished by Deb Jones with food-safe oil and beeswax. The sumptuous wood is a perfect, rustic way to display food at your next get-together.
Phil and Deb Jones retired in Cape Breton and set up a complete machine shop and wood shop to help rebuild their home. They then used the shops to do hobby projects, and over the years they have developed efficient methods of producing wooden products from rescued firewood. All their products are made on site by Phil and hand-finished by Deb.
