The magestic MacIsaac Brook Falls as photographed by James Forsey. MacIsaac Brook cleaves the East Bay Hills before flowing into the Gaspereuax River and ultimately into the Mira River. The waterfall sits in the middle of the East Bay Hill.
James Forsey is a nature photographer who first learned digital photography from a workshop he took at the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design. James turned to exploring Cape Breton’s pristine wilderness as means of coping with the vicarious trauma he endured from a lengthy career working in Corrections. It was only fitting he learned to capture the beauty of this island through photography. James enjoys showcasing some of the “hidden gems” and “off-the-beaten-path” views and vistas Cape Breton has to offer. James’ work has been featured by several prestigious publications from across Nova Scotia and beyond.
